4. Communication: Develop a communication plan to help you share your goal and progress with others who may be able to support you.
Assignment 2: Strategic Planning for a Business
Imagine you are the CEO of a small manufacturing company that produces custom-made products for businesses. Develop a strategic plan for your company based on the text. In your scenario, include the following components:
1. Mission and vision: Clearly define your company’s mission and vision. Consider how your company’s products and services can help customers achieve their own goals.
2. Market analysis: Analyze your market, including your competitors, customers, and trends. Identify opportunities for growth and areas of potential risk.
3. Goal setting: Based on your market analysis, set specific, measurable goals for your company. Consider both short-term and long-term goals.
4. Action planning: Develop an action plan to achieve your goals, including the specific steps you will take and the resources you will need. Consider how you will prioritize your actions and how you will measure progress.
5. Communication: Develop a communication plan to help you share your company’s vision and progress with employees, customers, and other stakeholders. Consider how you will build support and enthusiasm for your plan.
Assignment 3: Project Planning and Execution
Imagine you are leading a project to implement a new process in a manufacturing facility. Develop a project plan based on the text. In your plan, include the following components:
1. Goal setting: Clearly define the project goal and why it is important. Identify any potential obstacles you may encounter.
2. Action planning: Identify the specific actions you will take to implement the new process, including when you will start and how often you will work on each activity. Assign responsibilities and timelines for each action.

The 2nd and 3rd assignments are added because you are an IEM student. It proves that the difference between Designing Your Future or Your Business is slight. Your assignments aim to create a clear and compelling vision statement that communicates your dream to others. The assignments shall become more challenging and stimulating.
